  • Maharaja of darbhanga Late Sri Lakshmishwar Singh (1858-1898) encouraged this Art form. P& T department issue first day cover about him.



  • Madhubani painting (Mithila painting) was  made by women from various communities in the Mithila region of India. It was their traditional art.



                 


  • These paintings were traditionally made on freshly plastered clay walls and hut floors, but are now also made on cloth, hand-made paper and canvas.

After many attempts to fly his aircraft model, he succeeded 06/05/1896. (Samuel Pierpont Langley) his invention was very helpful for future development of the aviation field.
