 He was Born on  27/12/1897  at  Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra,
India.

 He Died  on 23/12/1970

o  A. B. Walawal kar (1897-1970) was a
 visionary engineer who made the development of Railway by his great skills.
 He belong a very humble background from theSindhudurg District of Maharashtra. He is  the founder of Konkan Railway.

We remember him As a "FATHER OF KONKAN RAILWAY.
